Great deal if you can replicate it. These are really nice pliers.
Note that the pic shows an inferior version with poor finish and fewer, larger teeth in the adjustment mechanism, but when I got mine a few months ago they were almost exactly like my Knipex Cobras except for color.
Are the Craftmans really exactly the same as the Knipex (except for the color)? I have the Cobras but hate to think I could've gotten them for cheaper.

Yes. I have both. They are definitely rebrands. The only difference is the color and style of the handle dip, and also the handle dip doesn't go as far up the handles on the Craftsman versions as on the Knipex versions.

Here's a pic of the Craftsman 7" & 10" with the Knipex 5" and 12" (with comfort grip). Sorry, my Knipex 10" is at another location. The Knipex are finished a little better, but function the same.

Ah, same even down to the "Made in Germany" stamp. Thanks for the replies.
I can't replicate this deal. If I could, I'd be all over it.
But regarding the Craftsman branded Knipex, I've got Knipex Cobras as well as these ones, bought a couple of years ago. I agree with the comments on the surface finish being a little different. Grips too. Other than that apparently cosmetic-only difference. They are exactly the same.
One benefit of the Craftsman ones is of course the Craftsman lifetime warranty, in case you would ever need them. Knipex is a more normal warranty, where it has to fail due to a problem with materials or workmanship. Craftsman ... if you accidentally weld it to your car battery, and then leave it in the back yard for a few years so it rusts out ... you can get a new one. (well of course now, you need to factor in any uncertainty with the Craftsman warranty going forward, considering also that this particular item is likely to be discontinued so you won't be able to swap for new).
I didn't realize there's a separate set of stores as "Sears Hometown." Seems way more complicated than needed...
They are franchised owned stores and were spun off into a separate company a few years ago when Sears really started circling the drain.
They are a great way to find NOS items. I've gotten all kinds of items at different Hometown stores that have long been unavailable from regular Sears.
Here is the model number, as the link didn't go to them when I clicked on it. Maybe because it's not available in my area either. Craftsman 45433 2 pc. Adjustable Pliers Set
