This printer uses Brother TN-660 Toner for which there are many cheap third party alternatives.

I bought an off-brand replacement toner cartridge for like $10 on eBay and it's worked as well as the original. So I'm not sure why anyone would ever use the branded toner!

You could always plug the USB into your router if it has that function or use a dedicated wireless print server.

Been using this printer for ~2 years now. Works great, cheap generic toner. Can't really say the same for a lot of others out there.

I own this printer. Very solid printer. Just use third party toner. Works fine.

Good point on plugging it in to your router. I would steer clear of this one, because if you use the Duplex function, it has to be done manually. Meaning, you have to flip the paper your self. For another $30, Brother has another printer, very similar, that does Duplex printing internally, and has wireless and ethernet built in.

The D in HL-L2300D stands for duplex. I'm not sure what the other guy is talking about in terms of having to manually flip the paper over to print on both sides. That would not count as a duplex function. That should not be the case. If you want wireless functionallity, you probably want to look at the HL-L2350DW.
