I hope having read the posts concerning this issue you took away the attempt at levity since it could be a very serious issue as you point out and I personally would never want to cause someone their job over a flippant comment made possibly with no harm intended at all. Of course that SR employee is not going to be on my Xmas card list for sure.
What I have learned in this short time on earth is we are all human whether white or black.,yellow or even green and the only people another person needs fret over are the people with blood that isnt red. Those people steer clear of

Kikkoman Teriyaki Takumi $2.99
$1/1 Kikkoman Teriyaki Takumi 10/13 SS 3/31/2020
$1.99

We use teriyaki a lot as a marinade and sometimes in sauces we make and I have to tell you this new Takumi sauce is kickass good. I bought the garlic and green onions one and its flavor is outstanding, so much so after mixing the marinade with a spoon I licked the spoon clean. Worked beautifully on large shrimp marinaded and then skewered and grilled on BBQ and served over jasmine rice .
At 1.99 after coupon well worth it and I bought 2 and got a 1 dollar Catalina off next purchase

About the Aruj garlic paste. In my SR yesterday, I found an end cap that had the bags of lentils (? . Online it looked like rice). They also had a few other Indian items. Tasty Bite Madras lentils $.99 and similar items.
: There was a sign for Ginger and Garlic Paste, $1.49. Above it was a box that had jars of the Ginger paste, but no Garlic that I could see. It was on the top shelf so I could only grab one or two to read.
So, some stores do have these items. Where in store is a treasure hunt.PirateBigeye

From what we now know it is a store by store thing depending upon demand based on who lives where so in your NJ location they obviously have some demand so order and stock some items but at my local NYC location apparently we have no demand so they dont even bother to stock anything apart from one rice item and my perusing the rice aisle did indeed show quite a few rice selections apart from the usual suspects like Carolina and Minute and Zatarains. It is a shame because I bet that garlic paste is decent and at 1.49 a 10 oz jar likely a great price. We have a Sri Lankan grocer nearby and when passing it I plan to stop in and see if they carry the paste or any paste plus want to find out if they have fresh spices to buy and bring home for bottling yourself. My neighbor used to buy spices in Manhattan and swears any place with a good turnover and volume will have great fresh spices at fabulous prices compared to SR or SnS. Im tired of SR prices for spices.
I buy Smoked paprika from a spanish on line place and pay a fraction of the cost for good paprika at SR.
I also bet the ginger paste is a decent buy if you use ginger often which we dont at my house so it would sit forever and likely spoil

I wanted to mention how I always thought I was a slick couponer and used them to the best advantage possible but it really wasnt until I began using this forum and the one for SnS and another website that I really maximized my couponing savings and advantages so I need to thank all the efforts of the individuals using this forum for everything they post and apprise members of since in the end the one common denominator we all possess beyond being humans is we all are interested in savings (and some people might go as far as to say we are cheap , yes that refers to the SR comment the other day lol)

There is a $2/1 IP for Perdue Chicken Plus on C.com

They are included in the sale. New item you might not see on SFH. I saw them in store. Dino Nuggets, tenders, and patties.

As usual, a big thank you to CD & SSS for posting. Could you guys just please find some things I NEED to post? JK of course, but really slim pickins' for me since SR changed its policies back in May. I also notice that unlike in the past, the computer kicks out any coupon even one day expired. Used to be able to use them for a week or so with no problems. They really hate us. Would love to see their P&L statements both before and after the switches. I know I've been buying a lot less there.

Anyway, re the Catalina machines--I've now been told that the purple/bluish color is correct and that the machines are working (since these are new machines, maybe this is true). Still did not see any coupons last night. This is highly unusual. Will have to check again when I go next weekend. But please don't let me queer anyone's deals. You can always go to CS if your Cat doesn't print. They're supposed to have a book with all the offers in it and may be able to print one for you (unless the whole system is down, of course).

Speaking some more about spices- anyone who uses saffron will want to check out Costco Black Friday online deals because they have a real nice deal on saffron 14 grams for 69.99 delivered. Good saffron is always expensive and crappy saffron is just slightly less expensive it seems. I have bought some from Costco online in past and it was very good quality Spanish saffron which I split with a neighbor making it even a better deal because 14 grams is a lot.

I know how you feel--I did get a win right away with my first account, but haven't had any luck with my second account. Wonder if they are tracking IP addresses. Did you do this on more than one email/PP account?

I just use the link from here and have tab open to use each day. I click on Registered, enter email and go from there. No Price Plus enters into it.
Sometimes I refresh to hopefully help.

Maybe I should try registering other email accts . Will try that.
thanx

Wave me as well ..

Quote from slaphappy2 :
Apologies to anyone offended but this struck me as really weird at my local SR
Went in for the Poland Springs freebies using coupons for the 6@3dollar deal and while there looked for the Aruj garlic paste on sale in the Indian holiday special page and walked around and saw Mexican and Chinese and some other Asian and some other countries but not a darn Indian shelf in site so asked and someone pointed me to Ethnic aisle but that was a strike out and then saw a woman who knows where everything is because she has one of those handheld devices and she looked at advert and smiled while laughing and said we only carry that one rice (in top of advert) because there is just no demand here for these items and then she said what do you want it for, youre Jewish. I wasnt taken aback and actually laughed at her comment but I did want to see this paste because I have learned that quite often various ethnic food items are really amazing and we love cooking with garlic and a good paste would save tons of time peeling and dicing and mincing garlic cloves. I also wasnt certain her comment wasnt more off towards any Indian person than a Jewish person but it was weird and I now know not to look for lots of the ethnic specials at my store apart from Mexican and Asian

we also use a lot of garlic. To save time I take out the pods and dunk them in water. Makes them easier to peel. Then make a paste with some oil and a bit of salt. You can even freeze the paste in ice cube trays.

Another way is to bake the whole garlic wrapped in foil with some oil in it.
