I just came back from Lidl which opened nearby and today took the time to stroll through the store and really soak in its offerings and prices (wrote down a lot of prices to compare both SR and SnS) and I have to say I am pretty impressed with them as a grocery to visit on a regular basis shopping both their circular specials and items seen on shelf. The only drawback of course is you need bring your own bags to bag your buys. No coupons taken but lots of really good prices and being not too out of the way compared to SR and SnS makes this a go to place from now on especially since can see their circular on line before I enter store. Anyone else try Lidl?

We just recently got an Aldi. I've been there twice and so far have been pretty happy with what I've bought. Prices are good, the store isn't huge, and it doesn't seem to get crazy crowded like ShopRite. I've been shopping less and less at SR. So far, no Lidl in my area.

I used just the IP and it was trouble-free to make them free. I don't have inserts so I can't speak to that.

I rarely shop there anymore. I went for the cheap Colgate a few weeks ago and used four coupons. The FEM said you're done couponing for today after the transaction.

My NYC SR had them priced at 79 cents and the IP doubles without a hitch making 4 of them just 16 cents plus some tax

It was central Jersey. I'm doing them a favor. I could go to CVS and get dozens of paste for free and get a smile

Favor or not, profit or not, Id call customer service at corporate and let them know this is precisely why sales are down and you personally find other places more amenable to customers with proper attitudes and respect.
I just got an email for a survey entry into a contest for GC from SR and there were a lot of open questions where you could write out your response. Im certain the store mgmt and possibly corporate mgmt will be contacting me after reading my responses
