Buy $100 Gift Cards Get $20 CAT OYNO Note: SR doesn't sell Amazon. S + S has same deal running through next week too (til 11/28) and Amazon works!

Can the S + S $20 CAT be used right away or do I have to wait until the following week like SR?
You can use it right away! You can even use it at self check out. It scans $0 but then you press "Continue" and you can see it takes off $20.

from CD's post:
Godiva bags are $4.39!

Yikes. That's not good. The $3.69 @ S&S to 12/5 is looking better. With the $1 ecpn (if you have it), much cheaper than SR this week.

And SSS:
There is/was a $1 S* on the Ferrero candy. You might want to check.

It's a good thing she doesn't shop at my store. laugh out loud No way the express lane is an express lane even with 3 cashiers. There are people who do multiple transactions so maybe it was 15 items per transaction but heck, two transactions for the same person, it's really 30 items. Lol at least have another person there. Shockingly, the self checkout has proven to be faster. Even though some people have a large number of items.

My NYC SR usually has 2 attendants at SCO monitoring 7 registers and while the bulk of the shoppers, myself included, usually never do more than the allotted item amount we do have many people running multiple transactions because of deals and specials. I prefer shopping early in the morning but have gone as late as 6 PM and waiting time was close to 30 minutes then. People just dont have patience nor manners anymore.
Was that store where the outbreak took place? If so can understand how with biters shopping it sounds dangerous plus I am certain when samples are given out those 2 ladies are dining buffet style

Sounds like an employee in my store. I went to the SCO, and she kicked me off the line because I had 31 items, limit is 30.
Like who counts their items while they shop? Now, I have to. Sad, isn't it?

You know I agree but since SCO is supposed to speed things up everyone needs be at least mindful of the others and limit their items to a reasonable amount so 31 wouldnt kill someone and how that attendant counted your items is beyond me but sometimes at my SR SCO they have a shopping cart full of stuff meaning they went way over limit.
Common courtesy is what everyone has to bring to their game but ......today that is in short supply.
I believe most of the people using these forums here are decent folks and all we want is to spend as little as possible on what we shop for by using coupons and taking advantage of every deal available to us to use. The stores sure as hell dont want to lose money but we dont either , right? But I try to be respectful at the stores despite at times being treated as a less than desired patron because I maximize my savings. But I also believe in the coupon mantra of sharing so when Im walking around doing my shopping and see some lady picking out a Turkey Hill ice cream for instance and help her reach that top shelf the morons place it on I also asked do you have a coupon for that since I had coupons. She didnt and now she did because I gave her one from my cache. A dollar saved is a dollar saved be it by me or another. Another lady I see all the time because we both shop early in morning and both love Egglands Best always smiles and we chat. She doesnt print her coupons but purchases them on line and I have seen her hand a coupon to a stranger for Egglands best. They were on sale last week and it happened she only had one coupon but wanted to buy several cartons of the brown eggs so I reached into my cache and handed her 3 coupons. I didnt even think about it since the ips have been available for a while and printed to pdf like 10 times already. But I also know she is a cool person who gets the spirit of couponing and also perhaps down the road someday Ill need a coupon and guess who will hand me one, yuppers she will. Im sure people here let someone with 1 item 0r 2 0r 3 slip ahead of them on line for cashier and I imagine most of us dont bang our carts into those stragglers in the aisle who remind us of tourists in NYC. Common courtesy is all it is and all that people need try to embrace. Sorry for the preachy sounding posting

Nope, I am in NY. I think the outbreak was in Jersey. My store has one line for express lanes which is 15 items or less and it has 5 registers that the one line feed into. However most days there are only 2 or maybe 3 registers open in that special section. So limit is technically 15. Honestly, I don't personally care, if people have 15 or 18. But two transactions of 15 does take much longer. I don't think I have seen any big couponers. Maybe one or two. I don't consider myself one either cause I rarely do deals even before the DQ change. I do think people get antsy in line cause it's one big sectioned-off line and it's hard to switch once you commit to it. Considering they have 3 cashiers, it should move faster than it does.

The SCO in my store has a max written I think but no one follows it. There are 6 machines and 1 attendant. It typically moves faster than the express lane or so it seems.
