All the Berkley Powerbait maxscent general worms are on clearance $5 at Walmart. I have also seen several Berkley lightning shock rods on clearance at $30 and some terminal tackles. It seems Walmart is dumping fishing gears at this time although most of them are still in the fishing area right now. Might worth checking out a few days later as the price will likely drop further when they are moved to the clearance section. Similar dumping pattern was observed last year, plenty of abu garcia vengence rods were marked down to $13 at that time.
There are plenty of these worms in stock(1/27/19) and not many people would buy fishing lures in January, so I'm confident there will be another price drop possibly to $3 soon.

I don't see any Gary Yamamoto stuff for $2 at Academy.

I've had good luck finding clearance lures at WM in April (Mid Atlantic area). Last year I found a money maker with blue craw lures and Berkley rebate.
