I was at Home Depot today when a Ryobi rep informed me of a deal on the Ryobi combo kit.
If you buy the kit you get any two tools for free. The deal also included the twin 4.0 battery pack as an tool in the deal.

Pretty decent deal as the combo kit comes with 2 batteries.

Same deal as has been running since November, except they've marked it down again. This was at 259, 229, 199 and is obviously a great deal at this new price. Most stores will be out of stock already though. Also don't get the 4ah batteries. They have been available much cheaper and don't have the extra pins to work best with brushless tools. I'd use the 2 free tool slots for tools and then buy some 3ah or 6ah later when they have a deal.

They should. I did that this morning. They did a return/rebuy for all three tools on the receipt.

Looking around it seems like a fair number of stores still have these in stock. They may be hard to find inside the store though. At my local store they recently changed over the seasonal displays and 12 of these were wrapped in plastic and put at the top of the overhead section. Needed a forklift to get one down.

They use the SKU to check for stock in store: 1003272324 for P1837.

This is a phenomenal deal IMHO. I didn't post because it was being discussed in the $199 thread.

See the $199 thread. Pictures of the ad in this post: https://slickdeals.net/f/12634561-ryobi-18v-one-cordless-brushless-3-tool-combo-kit-with-2-free-power-tools-199-ymmv?p=124534996#post124534996

The 18v brad nailer does not qualify. Rule of thumb is bare tools $129 or less.

So this doesn't look like it's working online. I see the combo kit for $159 but it won't let me add the free tools.

Should I buy the kit, pick up in store, and return rebuy with free tools in store?

Thank you! I went to the store and found the brushless combo kit, also picked up a brushless reciprocating saw and a brushless angle grinder. I rang them up at the checkout and it came up for $159. The employees in the store even tried to tell me that deal was over, but it's not. Thanks OP!

Ok so how does it work exactly? I get this kit, take any 2 tools for <129 each and it should be 159 at the register?
