A bunch of blasters left in the raleigh store as well, and there is actually a LOT of stuff on clearance right now.

Glad I started hoarding HF stuff last year!

The last thing I bought was the 16 drawer tool box for $349 and it currently up to $369!

I got 10% off because I had to return it once so I got it for $330. It's really an awesome tool box.

I think costco stocks a box like that for ~$400 and it's probably better quality, as they tend to stock high quality stuff exclusively.

Really, with this many drawers?

Hmmm, do you know if it's on line? I'd like to check it out!

That 10lb soda blaster for 33 bucks was a great deal but the Baltimore store would not take a 20% off coupon on top of it, none the less still happy with it.

When HF folds, evidence by their late practices, the bankruptcy sale will be EPIC!

Hmmm, I still like the HF tool box more. The upper box on the HF chest is basically the same depth as the bottom box, where as the upper box is more like a craftsman (not as deep as the lower box) on the Costco one.

Oh, and not to forget, the HF one is $170 less.

The costco one was $400 in teh durham, nc store. Let's not forget that it is also 60lbs heavier than the HF one. Think of how much quality that weight must equate to... 60lbs!!!

This one is cooler though:

They had one in-store that was a wider, low profile one with a hardwood worktop. I think I'd actually rather have one of those to double as a rolling workbench. Didn't see it online though.

Had to take my truck into town for service today so I stopped by the local HF store. I spent 9.99 so i could get a free flashlight. HaHaHa. and another 5 bucks on some brushes. I took my wife in with me so each of us could use one 20% off coupon. In talking with the store manager I discovered that he too finally had all he could take with constantly changing HF policies and is leaving for a better job. I will miss him as he was a cool guy who always took time to talk with the customers. I remember one time he was talking with a customer who wanted to purchase an item around 300 dollars or so and mentioned to the customer that he could use a 20% off coupon. Customer did not have any so store manager said to ask "the gentlemet over there", me, if I had a spare coupon. Sale made! Hope the new manage will be half as nice as the one leaving.

If you read the "Harbor Freight Sucks" FB page, you don't get the idea that the company is going in a good direction. As far as I can tell, they are doing everything they can to make it look as profitable as possible prior to an IPO. And that seems to include firing/forcing-out long time employees so they can keep bonus money or reduce payroll.

Then again, the HF Sucks page is also completely written by a bunch of angry current and ex-employees. You sort of have to filter out the random whining crap from things that might actually be fact.

All 4 HF stores near me are pretty damn good from the worker aspect. Very friendly and helpful.

One store has a stock woman that can load a full size tool chest into a Pick up truck with out even clenching her teeth.

HF was a favorite stop 2 years ago when I first discovered that there was one about 30 miles from me. I would let the wife shop at Babies R Us and I would spend a lot of money on some cool cheap tools.

That has faded and now I dont even bother stopping in. The selection of poor merchandise was made exciting by the coupons and deep discounts. When they fold I hope it isn't a bonding company that tries to liquidate the stock. That happened with Circuit City and Steve & Barry's. The worst pricing schemes I ever saw. The writing is on the wall here and it looks like its time to unsubscribe from the coupn thread. So disapointed. . . .
