Hey twiggs, I think I saw the french fry cutter in the July mailer, if not it's in the July ITC for $17.99.

Speaking of the July mailer, I heard that HF is raising prices in July. If there's something you want that's in the June mailer, check the July mailer before the end of the month. July prices are effective now but the June price is still good till COB on 6/30. NOTE: The July mailer isn't available yet online but I got mine in the mail yesterday.

That first toolbox (black one) is a complete POS. The US General red 44" wide box is one of the best you can buy at local B&M Stores (Lowes, Sears, Home Depot, HF...)

Not to mention my local store doesn't have even one black POS toolbox that is undamaged. I went to look at buying one for a family member that hardly uses their tools much, so I thought it would be fine for such limited use. Every one in store inventory had badly dented panels. Not one was in good shape to purchase. Haven't heard of anyone getting a bad Pro series red box that is superior.

Should have asked the manager to see if they would discount it to move it.

I picked up the bottom and middle section for $50

It finally happened - I walked out today without even a free item, nada.

As far as prices going up in July, they go up every other month, basically by raising the coupon price 50 cent to a dollar, really subtle, one at a time.

Besides being damaged in the box on the floor of the store, what's so crappy about the black one? I have one that I've had for at least 3 years with no issues. I'm not a professional mechanic, but I use the chest often. I regularly perform DIY around the house and all maintenance & repairs on my 1997 car, 2007 SUV, 2003 motorcycle. Maybe I am one of the lucky ones? This is also the only tool chest that I've owned, so I really don't know how a nice one feels. For me, I know that it isn't the best that money can buy, but it's at least doing it's job without any issues. I kind of wish it would fall apart so I could get a nice one.

Too bad you aren't local I'd buy it off you. Everyone scared me from buying it now lol but if you have a good one then maybe I can find a good one.

I have the 26" 8 drawer top and bottom roller cabinet (paid little less than $300), this is probably one of the better cabinets out there, probably my most favorite HF purchase in many years.

I do agree that the black ones should be avoided at all cost, quality really sucks, and unless you like nails on a blackboard, can't imagine too many people being happy with it.

I also just bought the top chest part at a local garage sale, brand new for $40 (Task Force brand tho, but same size etc), just felt I had to share-brag this slick deal Wink

For the first time ever, no harbor freight ad in the August Road and Track.

Might be a bad trend.

Has anyone seen a coupon for this stand? Does this stand ever drop below $39.99?

Thanks
