I'm currently a Mint subscriber, however, and have been pretty happy. Was also an H2O subscriber a couple years ago and was pretty happy.
You get the first month of service free (just pay the $5 for shipping).
If you decide you want to stay with them after the free month, you'd need to prepay upfront: $20/mo. or $30/mo. (depending which you picked) starting your 2nd month. They won't/can't auto-charge you unless you enable this option manually in your account settings.
You could just do the free month only and port out a day or two before it ends to a different carrier running a good deal.
