Been this price for a while ... this is definitely the best macbook air to date though mostly because of the screen.. I am waiting for it to hit 800's before I buy one though (probably Sept when the next one gets released)

Don't hold your breath. Anyway, these are on sale at Costco for a few days now. 4 YEAR warranty if you use Costco Credit card. 2 years warranty without.

I love apple and have been using all their products for the last 15 years but seriously, they need to stop doing this 128gb nonsense
Yup. Can't even backup my iPhone XS Max on a 128GB hard drive (+OSX of course). That and 8GB of RAM. Cut. It. Ouuuuuuuut. If it was 256GB SSD and 16GB RAM I'd jump on all their new $999 MacBook Air's.
I'm also trying to hold out for a 256-16 at a $1,000 price point. With the drop in SSD prices, I thought this would have come sooner... but I know it's apple we're talking about
i'm holding for 2018 macbook pro 8gb/256 for close to $1000.
i wanted 16gb ram but they are $1700-$1900
i almost bought the air till i compared the screen with the macbook pro..
i really don't want to pay over $1000 for a macbook and i don't want to buy the faulty keyboard 2017 model.
Beware, many people are having issues with the keyboard. Also the 2016 MacBook Pro are developing the "glexgate" issue and will likely happen with the air too.
lol, 16 gb ram wouldnt sell for 999 but i agree that they should have atleast 256 GB SSD. Hekk, at this point, since memory is so cheap, they should include 512 GB
