Quite true. I like a some of the average bagged coffees, such as 8 o'clock, and my go-to has been the Fresh Thyme french roast since it's a good flavor for a great price on sale. Obviously I enjoy higher quality stuff too, but I don't like big bargain tubs of Folgers, etc.
The biggest issue with this was the chocolate flavor added overpowered the coffee. The dominant flavor was overly sweet chocolate syrup.

However, I agree with everyone on the taste. It's horrible and very artificial. But I also agree you don't drink these for the taste. I stopped buying them on these deals, even though some were a MM after coupon stacking, because they taste that bad.
