Hello, this jacket is definitely intended to be lightweight and is best worn in 40-50 degrees temperature. For anything colder it still works well as a layering piece since lightweight and not bulky. The technical qualities of the jacket's fill is 60% down and 40% polyester. The down is a minimum of 3.7 oz per jacket at 600 fill power with an additional 3.0 oz of polyester fill. If you have any additional questions please don't hesitate to ask.

I know it says the down jacket is "ultra-light," but it's a red flag for me that they don't provide the fill weight anywhere on the item page, at least on mobile.

I got one of these ultralight down jackets from Costco for $20 and it's been great. Fill weight is definitely on the lighter side, but I live in socal so it's perfect

have that ultra light vest for some concerts/shows during the warmer part of the year, from the prior SD deal. bought now the jacket, in that weird blue color. lets see how it holds up. it is indeed quite light, definitely not for real winters in my area, but perfect for spring/fall
