GCU still applies if you have it. $15 for game and toys? Sounds like a steal. I've heard good things from reviews and the Switch version is the superior version with the Star Fox content added (the content isn't stuffed in from what I've heard in early reviews, it's actually engaged with the main story).

The game was getting decent scores of 7/10 average, so it's definitely something worth trying out at this huge discount.

It has everything you'd need to play through the game. You have the option to buy figurines to unlock different ships, guns, pilots, etc. that are also 50% off. It's very similar to the Lego Dimensions or Skylanders games in that regard, if you're familiar with those.

Yep, from early reviews, you don't have to buy the other toys (there are four other ships not including the exclusive one in the Switch version for star fox $10/with gcu or $15 without). The game is completely playable outside this starter kit that includes everything needed to play the game.

Might not be a bad time to try it out this week and consider buying the toys while they are on sale this week too. Odds are they are being liquidated right now, wouldn't be surprised to see the toys drop further in price if they don't sell.

Yikes!! I wonder how much lower this can go. Anyhow, purchased with GCU and $1 off... and a few rewards points so came out to a few bucks. Thank you! Forgot to mention I purchased the Switch version for Starfox Wink

I think $16 with GCU is the lowest you can go with this to completely clear it out of the shelves. Best Buy could have done it at $24.99 but it looks like they just want to rid of this thing. It's unfortunate for Ubisoft as I actually think this game is great. The design of the game with the toys and ship models is what made this a flop. Reviews for the game are actually decent and good, but the concept of the toys made the general public think of this like Skylanders.

In for switch version. I've been wanting to pick up Spyro remaster but needed a few bucks to get the free shipping (I'm frugal). $47 for Spyro and this.

Price is so good I should pick it up. But my backlog is higher than Snoop Dogg. I'll wait for a true SF game that's on the horizon.

This game was an obvious money grab and Ubisoft realized real fast it wasn't going to work outside of the Starfox fan base. With that said it is not worth the $50-70 it was when it came out but at $20 it's a decent deal and worth the gameplay.

It can be played without the weapon accessories but it requires a lot of grinding to level up before taking on certain bosses.
