As to humidification, you'll want to season it for sure, and I also very strongly recommend using 65 or 69% packs once seasoned. I started out with 72's and it was way too high. A 75% pack, to me, would be more useful for seasoning, but I'd yank anything that humid out the second I got the humidor prepped.
If this is your intro to cigars, it's a marginal deal. Now that I'm a bit snobbier about it, I find myself gravitating towards smokes that are in the $5-6/stick range (or up) and the quality difference is so substantially better that I can't bring myself to drop down to dog rocket status.
Shipping kills this deal. Otherwise, everything else was very good.
EDIT: How on earth did they initially price their 10 cigars as $159?!
