If you go to the Wallet Tab within the Bitmo app, you will see there Carma Rewards, click on it, then click on Redeem Points, and thats it.
Yes, you were supposed to use your real number when creating the account, and then a different number (such as textme) when you check the VIN again to get +100 points. Just message support (thats the yellow circle in the bottom right corner) to alter your registered number to the one in bitmo.
I wasnt even getting anything out of it, I've changed it, good looking out!
