When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! Man, we must be related. Only I am going to have to dump about that many bottles of Lawry's marinade. My first Slickdeal! And I too just dumped pounds of inserts. Couldn't take it anymore!
Wave long lost sister! LOL!

My salad dressing was one of my firsts too - I had so much to learn. I've come so far!

I'm here to support you - it's ok to dump inserts (and that marinade!). It's refreshing and freeing. As long as we learn from our mistakes and vow never to let it get out of control again! LOL! We can start our own little support group here... Comfort

Confused WTF???

Different Topic: Coty Peelies

I just found a few (in my own stockpile) - what are people using these on? I never paid attention since I didn't realize I had any - PMs welcome!

BTW, please don't cast me out but I have a confession to make. *snip*
I did that 2 weeks ago. It was overtaking me and I was afraid my children would find me buried under a stack of inserts from 2007 EEK!

I rarely clip coupons. I use big binder clips and bind each week, write the date in Marker across the top. For the most part, anytime a deal is posted, the insert date is posted too, so I just clip them then. I do this because I am NOT a good coupon organizer. I admire the people that have the big notebooks with the baseball card sleeves...I just know I would never keep that up.

I started out really well with a file cabinet and file pockets - I'd put each week into its own file pocket and put a the date on a post it and stick it on the file (where the file label would go so I could see it when filing) - that way, I could reuse the file without having to scratch out the dates and make them all ugly and messy looking. I even pre-dated a bunch of files so all I had to do was drop the inserts in. That worked really well for me and I'll do that again this time - My problem was I failed to file for a couple of weekends and with the inserts that people give me throughout the week plus the lady at work that would give me her inserts, already clipped, I had piles of mismatched inserts and bags of coupons all curled up and I just couldn't take it.

I like the file system and the link that someone put out here with the latest expiration dates in the inserts - that way I can refer to that and occasionally weed out the file cabinet. So much easier, organized and most important for me, out of sight! LOL!

You DO know that YOU are NOT to encourage people to READ don't you?????? Reading is the root of all evil ... just ask the cashiers/managers who will assure you that the numbers/words are irrelevant JUST look at pictures!!! LOL hug

I am in awe - y'all are SOOOO organized! I am still working on it here!!! I think I am going to try the method of keeping the inserts in whole pieces with the dates on them and then only take out the ones I need.

I wanted to get to the store to buy more papers today ... but no such luck ... they are all out now! it is one of those rains/pours weekends LOL Do my wee one is doing better yeah - then my friend's two year old pushed my one year old down the stairs yesterday (it was one of those faster than you can move --- everything in slow motion while you run moments) and so off to the hosp again to check her out ... she is okay HUGE bumps/bruises but that is one of the joys of children (at least she wasn't admitted I have spent too much time at the hosp with my youngest over the past few months!) Then today my 5 year old woke up sick, got my friends kiddos packed up to go back home, started laundry & the dishwasher and the power went out - tree branch took it out so no power .... but now we have it back! ACK - just these things that keep the day from being orderly! LOL On the up side my kiddos are excited as I am ordering pizza and I don't have to cook tonight - so not all bad!!! Smilie So off to ebay I go!

Could you get a price adjustment on the Pepsi if you got the GC deal last week to this week's prices? Just wondering if it will adjust or since there is a GC involved it negates the price adjustment. Anyone know? We have the 8pks Pepsi's and they were 6 for $15 last week and 5 for $10 this week (but no GC). TIA!

Also, the LPS are on sale this week. I got some yesterday for $5.99 (or something like that) and used a mq on it. The sale price this week will be less than the value of the mq, would T price adjust the toys? TIA!
I asked this in the Deals thread, but brought it here to see if any of you would know. Thanks!!

No to the Pepsi. If you look on your receipt, the gift card deal is grouped as a "package". The return value of the packs will be reduced by the gift card.

ex. here they were 5 for $15
$3.00 each.
-Take the $5 GC out of the value and they become $2.00 ea. That is the amount of a return or PA.

In your situation, the 8 packs were 6 for $15. Your return value is about $1.83 ea.

The toys are a YMMV....depends on where the MFQ attached.

PMing on the Pepsi deal:

Last week: 6 for $15 - $5 GC = 6 for $10 or less if you had other TQs (check your receipt for the "refund value")

This week: 5 for $10

You actually paid less last week.

Ah, thanks! I figured it was something like that, but wasn't sure. The mq did attach to the toys, so I'm guessing that's out as well! nod
