There is one on the front of the receiver also; that makes 8 HDMI. Keep in mind the one on the front is not 2.2 compliant.

Ordered a RZ830, $541 with tax, but still a great deal, upgrading from a TX NR676, hoping that the AccuEQ advanced can things sounding right.

Yes, there is one in front, but rear only has 6 = 7 total.

I've been through 2 onkyo receivers.. tx nr905 and tx nr838.. both had issues with the hdmi board, and with the nr838, it said it can handle hdmi 4k, but after buying it, and then later on trying to add new 4K gear, I realized only 1 of the hdmi in the back was hdmi 2.0... so if you have an Xbox 1x and a ps4 pro.. you are shit out of luck..

I was looking at their rz-830 and the new 787.. but I decided to go with the Denon 4500 for $900..

And I gotta tell you, the quality is night and day.. I was dreading setting it up, but the intuitive setup system, and the auto calibration was a breeze..

Looks like a mistake on their product page.

The spec sheet shows 7 in, 2 out.

I have TX-SR605 for the last 11 years and that still works. I am also looking to to go Klipsch and dolby atmos setup. Is TX-NR676 better or TX-RZ830?

RZ830 does 5.2.4 which apparently is worth the investment over a 5.2.2 setup so that you can hear objects above you by the direction they are actually coming from.

Any thoughts on the RZ830 vs the Denon X3500? Will be upgrading from an Onkyo TX-NR708. I know main difference will be AccuEQ vs Audyssey.
