Must have been local markdown. Normally it's around $54 at my local Costco. Saves $5 or so. Good deal.

Liquor prices highly fluctuate depending on local/state laws as well as rules regarding distribution in non-state controlled places.

I find Florida to be cheapest for single malt. Some states don't allow rebates on liquor. So many state rules.

it's crazy how even the same liquor within Costco's will vary.

In the San Francisco Bay Area you can find Johnny Walker black anywhere from $38 to $55.

The Mountain View, CA Costco used to sell handle (1.75L) sizes of Macallan 12 for $100... should have bought way more as I've never seen them anywhere else.

For myself and for the price, real good! But with the ever-growing market I'm sure there'll be input on cheaper other brands... I'm a Woodford guy myself.

I like Diplomatico Rum Reserva Exclusiva.. usually in the $30-$40 range and really good. IMO.

Ended up getting the diplomatic reserva exclusiva and also some Ron something 25yr.

The diplomatica was 36.99 and the other was 49.99

The diplomatica was much better. The Ron whatever 25yr burned, like a lot.
