I also saw that this was sold out, but I kept it on my screen and refreshed to see if BB restocked, and they did. It now shows in stock, and I used Google Check-out and the coupon code which worked as well. The item total for me was $25.98 with tax and shipping. Thanks OP!!!

Can you use it to control the receiver with switching source, for example? Does this require the original remote?

Remember the following:

You will need the Harmony software (https://support.myharmony.com/en-us/download) to configure the buttons. After the software is installed you will still need an Internet connection as there is no "offline" mode. However, once you have the remote configured you don't need to connect it to your computer unless you want make any changes.

The Harmony650 uses IR to control devices - so Roku and AppleTV users will need to get an IR repeater (this or similar to https://www.amazon.com/BAFX-Produ...009ZGK6QS) if it's not in direct line of sight of the remote as those remotes connect via Bluetooth, but there is an IR sensor on those devices.

Can be a pain to setup, but once you do - then it can work great. Worth the time if you have 5-6 devices and just want this 1 remote to control them all.

I got mine off ebay for $10. It was used but worked like new.

It's an excellent remote. Initial setup takes a bit of time but worth it

I bought this remote for $35 and it does work but it's given me some problems. It will occasionally not turn on/off the designated equipment and you have to click the help button and it will resend signal. In addition, if your using it for things that are normally controlled via Bluetooth or WiFi I.e Apple TV it will of course default to IR mode which can be laggy (I of course knew this going in, be ready to pony up more $ if you want this feature). It has twice decided to reset to factory settings which you can imagine is pretty irritating. But it does work with a ton of devices/brands and it's probably better than the remote you use now.

I need a universal remote. Is this a very good unit? I don't need buggy garbage. Thanks.
