Trust me. I had an elderly cat... the advanced one worked for cat pee. This one did not.
This one is great though for just cleaning your carpet.

For the cost difference, I wouldn't even bother. Just make sure the water and solution mix is hot. The temperature is just important as what you're putting into the reservoir.

I have two dogs and two cats and I've used this as well as the orange formula and they both work fine. When my dogs were younger, they were having marking wars and this one did the trick. It just takes a couple of days for it to break down the odor entirely. If you can't deal with the odor another day or two, wait for it to dry, get some carpet powder, let it set for 10 minutes or so, and vacuum. After you're done vacuuming, hit the carpet one more time with the carpet cleaner to remove any powder residue. I mean, you can buy the red formula, but it costs 3 times more than this deal, and you're still going to have to wait for the enzymes to work.

Does anyone know if this would work to mop stone tile floors? I have a friend who's elderly cat seems to have pee'd everywhere before he passed. Trying to help her find something that would help the smell and everything seems to be for carpet. Thank you in advance for any tips!

Nature's Miracle is garbage. Don't waste your time. I've used an entire gallon of the "advanced formula" on fresh cat pee, and I did so the proper way (wet towel on top, etc.). Odor remained and it left a gross sticky residue on the carpet. Don't waste your time or money, get Rocco & Roxie and be done with it. You get what you pay for. This "carpet cleaner" posted here is particularly useless too. They changed their "formula" several years ago, and it hasn't worked since.

This ^. The old formula was excellent and is still sold, just not by this company and not under the Nature's Miracle label. I forgot the name of the product now that is actually the old formula, but others have posted it in previous Nature's Miracle threads if anyone cares to search for it.

I use it in a Bissell Proheat x2 Revolution Pet Pro. Never any issues with it.
