DirecTV Now New Packages

Direct TV
Never posted in general discussion, but wanted to see if anyone has thoughts and feedback on the new DirecTV Now packages. I'm really worried about their future.
I just got an email today saying they were only going to be offering two packages starting today, the Plus ($50/month) and the Max ($70/month). They stated in the email that those with the Go Big package will be able to keep it, but the price will increase $10/month. My issue is that the two new available packages have VERY limited channel selection. I counted over 70 channels that I currently have with the Go Big package that are no longer available in the only two packages released today.
Any thoughts on what might be happening is appreciated.

Just so you know Directv is the Devil, pure evil, and you are under their spell. Get out while you can.
It looks like I can keep my existing plan, but it'll go up $10/mo. And if I ever drop HBO, it'll be an extra $10/mo to get it back. And if I ever cancel or want to change plans, I'll lose Comedy Central and all the Discovery channels which are one of the main reasons I picked DTV Now.
I'll definitely end up cancelling after this. Might wait until GoT finishes and drop live TV entirely and see how that goes for a while.
Interesting that there aren't any streaming services that currently carry the Viacom channels (Comedy Central, MTV, etc). They clearly think their channels are worth more than people are willing to pay for them.
DirectvComcast/Xfinity is the Devil, pure evil, and you are under their spell. Get out while you can.But now that tacks on another $10 a month for the second outlet, which we barely even use at this point. So we may just ditch the second box sooner than later.
Not to mention our 'deal' for internet and cable has steadily gone UP no matter how many or few channels we have. There's only a select few we really even watch and most of those could be replaced by DVD/Blu-Ray sets for a one time cost or we could just watch the show(s) on various free streaming sites like Crackle (Married With Children, etc).
I remember reading somewhere that regardless of whether or not you get the channels ESPN nails cable and satellite providers for like $5 or $10 PER subscriber.
Thing that amuses me most is with Comcast they hit you with a regional sports fee AND broadcast TV fee even though both type of channels are usually included in their channel lineups. So they're double dipping and hitting you with fees for shit you're already paying for with the package.
