If you currently have any kind of Saphire personal card that is active, you will NOTqualify for bonus points, even if you are approved.
If you close your Saphire card recently, you will need to wait 48 months from the date you received the previous Saphire bonus before applying to get the new card's bonus points.
Be careful not to waste a hard credit pull
Chase T&C:
"The product is not available to either (i) current cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card, or (ii) previous cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card who received a new cardmember bonus within the last 48 months. If you are an existing Sapphire customer and would like this product, please call the number on the back of your card to see if you are eligible for a product change. You will not receive the new cardmember bonus if you change products."
95 af is not waived for first year basically previously it was 50k with 95 waived first year now it's 60k with 95 af so pretty much the same
Also I'll get csr rather than csp if you spend 3400+ in travel, dining etc
It is pretty straightforward. When you use your card for ANY travel purchase (like Airbnb, airfare, hotels, Lyft, Uber, parking, some tolls, and many others), you will automatically be reimbursed, until you've spent a total of $300 on travel. In other words, Chase will pay for the first $300 in travel you spend each year with your card.

Dang! I just applied for the CSP and was approved for $18k. Now I'm having second thoughts and want to get the CSR. Anyone know if this is possible? Can I call then and "switch"?
If you haven't hit your spend requirement you can cancel and apply for the csr.
Annoyingly enough, as a Chase customer (checking & CC account), when I look at the "Offers" section as I am logged in, I can only see that I'm pre-approved for the 60k points offer.
But going through the Chase/prequalified portal (while not logged in as a customer) and applying for the CSP (had to put in my SSN, if i did so logged in I wouldn't have needed to) got me an immediate approval, 70k points. Wonder if they hit my credit regardless in either scenario.

Can u pls give me the link where to check for prequalified option showing 70k points.. it's showing 60k points for me..
Pro tip, have your spouse apply after you apply using your personal referral code for an extra 15k bonus (and 60k additional for him/her/). Pro pro tip, open Sapphire checking account with 75k in funds for another 60k in reward points. Invest the money for the 90 day holding period. Pro pro pro tip, transfer all rewards to partners for up to .02/ point. Potential total = 60k + 60k + 60k + 15k = 195k * .02 = 3.9k
I got a CSR three years ago and it is still active. Can I apply for this card and get the bonus points?
No. 3 years < 48 months since last Sapphire product bonus. Plus you'd have to cancel or downgrade (to CF or CFU) your CSR before applying for another Sapphire product.

doubt 70k exists, 50/60 is all that is available right now unless you are a special circumstance.
