If you currently have any kind of Saphire personal card that is active, you will NOTqualify for bonus points, even if you are approved.
If you close your Saphire card recently, you will need to wait 48 months from the date you received the previous Saphire bonus before applying to get the new card's bonus points.
Be careful not to waste a hard credit pull Smilie

Chase T&C:
"The product is not available to either (i) current cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card, or (ii) previous cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card who received a new cardmember bonus within the last 48 months. If you are an existing Sapphire customer and would like this product, please call the number on the back of your card to see if you are eligible for a product change. You will not receive the new cardmember bonus if you change products."
95 af is not waived for first year basically previously it was 50k with 95 waived first year now it's 60k with 95 af so pretty much the same
Also I'll get csr rather than csp if you spend 3400+ in travel, dining etc
It is pretty straightforward. When you use your card for ANY travel purchase (like Airbnb, airfare, hotels, Lyft, Uber, parking, some tolls, and many others), you will automatically be reimbursed, until you've spent a total of $300 on travel. In other words, Chase will pay for the first $300 in travel you spend each year with your card.

I applied on 12th June and made a call to customer care and asked for 6 months to spend $4000 to get bonus due to covid and was told I could do that and they made a note on my account. App still shows 3 months but I confirmed that there is a note added to my account that I will get bonus if I spend in 6 months. You can try your luck.

Why can't I find the 300 yearly travel credit on any of the CSP ads? Only on the CSR.

Also, do you get lounge access and priority pass at the airport with CSP?

Does Chase still offer the regular Sapphire fee free card? My wife has the Sapphire Preferred, but I'm looking to downgrade her.

CSP does not have $300 travel credit, nor does it have priority pass lounge access.

It's only available for downgrades, so yes.

So, I have a current Chase Sapphire Preferred Card for which I had received a bonus 48 months ago. If I cancel the card NOW and reapply for the same card in 2 days, am I eligible to get the bonus again?

Who is travelling or using lounges? Won't happen until there is a vaccine.

Does anyone know if there is a way to see my progress towards the $4000 I have to spend to get the bonus points. I swear I saw a progress bar before but I can't find it. I know I can just see how much I spent, but I just want to make sure it's working.
It is called addition. You learn it in school.

Does anyone have Benefits guide prior to Feb2020 for CSP? If yes could you kindly look if Epidemic or Pandemic is listed as Exclusion in Trip Cancellation and Interruption? Many Thanks.
Does post Feb 2020 exclude epidemic and pandemic?

Yes and no.
If you apply for the same card in 2 days they may just reopen your current acct so no bonus,
If wait about 1 - 2 billing cycle of the current card after closing, then you apply and can get bonus
Good luck!!!

Yes, although it would be wiser to downgrade it to a freedom or other non annual fee card so your credit doesn't take a hit.

I double dipped little over a year ago. Got both the reserve and preferred and did just that, so I have 3 freedoms now 😂
How does canceling the card make your credit take a hit? I thought your credit will improve since you now have fewer cards.
