New Apple iPad mini (2019) - A12 Chip - 64GB - Space Gray (Now works with 1st Generation Apple Pen -not included)
2048-by-1536 resolution at 326 pixels per inch (ppi)
Cheaper then
Apple at $399 [apple.com]
I'm posting this deal because it is
COSTCO,
better return policy and
Costco rewards cash back then the BestBuy deal listed
here on Slickdeals at $375 (probably cheaper extended warranty too!)
Plus, the BestBuy Pre-Order deal is for "$25 off Elite and Elite plus members only."
I would rather buy from Costco and get my
Costco rewards cash back and not deal with BestBuy.

And the fact it's been years since they update the Mini.
Just tether it to your phone, no extra line charge.
They should have in stores around release day according to staff member I asked.

No gps in the wifi model. I want to use one as an extra drone controller screen.
Tether makes the iPad think (at least tether through wifi) it's getting wifi signal and apparently it sucks the bandwidth dramatically much more than when it's on LTE. I was bitten once and several gig data in one night in a trip, it was couple iPad though but still.
If you occasionally tether for emergency use that's fine. When it's on LTE, iOS uses very little bandwidth and optimized. On Wifi it does differently and it doesn't ask you.
Tether through bluetooth may not have the same problem, but may be the same and I never tried.

Its because apple dont really have any competition in the tablet market they arent really forced to change their design. Google has yet to put anything out there to compete especially on the software side (still terrible app support and optimization) they are years behind.
At least apple has a set release date and preorder.
