If you are like me, you've been waiting to get your hands on Belkin's Boost Up wireless charger that supports 10W charging for Pixel 3. I didn't want to pay so much for Google Stand, not to mention the design wouldn't work well with my phone's case. Google store has been out of stock on the cheaper Belkin charger for months. But, it's finally out on Belkin.com now, and it is $10 cheaper than Google Store. I normally would wait for prices to go down, but I doubt it would for a while since this is on high demand, so I went ahead and ordered mine. I thought I'd share to see if it helps others. Don't worry about the reviews. It appears that people who bought a wrong version left reviews on this item without knowing the difference. This is clearly the right model specifically designed for Pixel 3. Shipping is free. Before anyone asks, there is no coupon code that works for this item. Trust me. I tried them all.

Does it support fast charging (secure handshake and all) and does it activate the Pixel stand exclusive features? For only $10 less than the Pixel stand, charging through a case shouldn't be it's only perk since there are other charges that can do it and I'm sure it only supports marginally thicker cases than usual.

It supports the fast wireless charging 10W handshake, but NOT the special display feature (slide show/Google Assistant screen) that the Pixel Stand provides. The Pixel Stand normal price is also $20 more than this.

Either way, anything more that $30-40 is way too much for a wireless charger. Should see some holiday specials on the Pixel Stand again later this year.

I wasn't saying $10 less than pixel stand. I was saying $10 less than Google Store price.

Yea, any and all items will have holiday sales in November. If you can wait, then this is not for you. I'd rather not wait that long. 8 months of convenience to use 10W wireless charger for my Pixel 3 is well worth measly savings that I will get by waiting until November.

Got mine in yesterday for my pixel 3. Legit. Solid device. Confirm fast charger!!! I like that I can just lay it on the charger and it works. the mobi Qi charger I have takes a while to find the "right spot" to charge

That's why I grabbed 2 of the Pixel stands when BestBuy had them for $39.

YMMV, found two of the Belkin stands at my local Walmart. $40 a piece and fast charge the Pixel 3.

if you have a pixel 3, only the pixel stand and this belkin charger will charge it at above 5w.

Everyone probably already knows this but shitty Qi slow chargers are like $5 shipped everyday on AliExpress. I only charge my Pixel 3 XL once a day overnight so it's fine for me. Would prefer a fast Qi charger but these prices are ridiculous.

Still upset that my pixel 3 needs special chargers to fast charge wirelessly. That said if you can wait for another sale on the Pixel Stand then that's the way to go, they are quite nice and the extra features are neat.

If you can't wait, then this is a decent deal.

Are you sure? I don't think Walmart carries this item yet. Google store was the only place you could buy it until recently, and it just came out on Belkin themselves. Can you post a picture of the model number and receipt?

Except that you can't charge Pixel 3 at 9w using Samsung's charger. Currently, only Google Stand and this Belkin charger can achieve anything close to 10w.
