2019 Honda Clarity Plug-in has $6000 dealer cash in CA, maybe OR as well
There is $6000 factory rebate right now according to Costco car program. I heard someone got $8500 off. With $7500 tax credit and $1500 CA rebate, your net is $17k, lower than a Civic!
PG&E has $800 rebate, Edison has $1000 rebate. Plus, in El Dorado County, if you apply first, got approval, then purchase the vehicle, county would give you $1000 cash as well! (link: https://www.edcgov.us/Government/...funds.aspx)That would bring down the price to $15.2k!!!
47 miles EV range, actual EV range is about 30- 60 miles depend on weather, speed and driving habit. HV mode is 42mpg. It is a superb green car without range anxious.

Do not go to Torrance/Scott Robinson Honda. They will not sell it at the discounted price. They will tell you they will sell it at discount but when you go there, they will tell you the price is not available due to change in demand. Find another dealer in Socal who is not relying on SD effect to draw people in.

Before making the purchase, look at your local county/city and electric company's websites, they might have promotions on PHEVs.
If you were forced to buy the Car Alarm system for $900 because it was already added, be aware it may not have been installed or cannot be activated. I found this out after being told it was installed in all Plug-in Clarities, but when they tried to activate it, they found the Alarm system cannot be activated on Plug-In cars.
So check this and you will get a refund of the alarm system. They will also try to sell you on a Lo-Jack system as a replacement.
