Nice, the deal is back. For those of you wanting the better 500 nit HDR display it was available yesterday at the Lenovo site with the same specs as this besides a 256gb ssd instead of 512gb for around 1385 plus tax using a coupon with an additional 12% cashback from bates. I do believe the cashback was only for yesterday though.

Deals will come up again if you dont mind checking every so often.

the issue I have with the costco laptop is that they bring a laptop with near top of the line specs, but without the WQHD screen. The X1 is mostly worth it to me with the higher end screen, than the simple 1080p screen.

I will add OS to that list. Not sure why it comes with Win 10 Home. At this price range, this should be Win 10 Pro by default.

This is a good deal. Great business laptop. The keyboard is second to none and it's super light. I have one with HDR WQHD screen but you're not going to get that option at a $1299 price point. These laptops are available at the warehouse so I would just go in and pick one up to save on the shipping cost.

It competes with LG Gram 15, Dell XPS 9570, and other ultra portable laptops but this is the best 14" business laptop out there IMHO.

I guess title matters. Someone might not like 1080p or S&H. LOL

No clue. It was well received last time. That's why I posted it again when it came back on sale. One of the down vote is for "Poor merchant reputation". Seriously?

I think the new rule is when something comes on sale again, it needs to be priced lower than before Smilie There is a new generation (7th) coming in August. Until then, this is what we have. Costco can consider getting the higher end versions, but that's going to bump the price.

I bit last month when this deal was around. Just gonna remind everyone that Costco laptop return policy is 90 days from day of receiving so if you're in the market and unsure whether or not to wait for a better deal...you can still buy this and return it worry-free before end of June if a better deal comes by.

This is a warm deal. About $100 more than last November's sale price. SSD price dropped a lot in the past several month, while Lenovo still wants more than $200 for upgrading SSD to 512GB from 256GB.

I have one at work with the same specs but with the higher resolution. I would bite if it has the higher resolution. Personally I feel it's just much nicer to use.

How would this compare to lenovo outlet refurbished deals? Same spec is listed for $1084.49 (https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/outl...20KGX001US).

I prefer 1080p with touch since I use external monitor and don't like scaling issue with Windows 10.

Was just thinking the same thing when I saw your post. if it had the better quality screen this would be slick. Without it 1080p just isn't sharp enough (and I know because I own one).

That's a good point actually. um.....although if that's the case I would probably just go for X1 extreme. I wanted something that i can plug in and work in the bed or couch when I feel like it.

But your use case is something to consider as well...

Bought one last month based on advise by others here. Returned it back yesterday due to defective arrow keys. I blame it to poor QC. While at Costco, I saw a Dell XPS 13 with a 4k touch screen display with only $50 more than the price of the X1C. I am still deciding if I would take it.
