Ally is better. Although if looking for a higher rate, something like Citizen's access might be a better option.
Only reason to do the HSBC deal is for the bonus. I wouldn't suggest using it as a real bank.
i am generally a fan of SD but SD rebates - candidate for BBB reports.
I chatted with their rep and asked if they offered Wire Transfers with Memo known as "to further credits to" or "Special Instructions" but they said you need to sign up first to know?
