During the sign up process they asked to input my another bank's login ID and password. Of course I didn't give them.

Forgive my ignorance, what do you mean by bank bonus game?
25K to Discover, get $200 .... 25K (or whatever) to capital one, another bonus ... then to HSBC... then to Citi, and so on.
Make me nervous. Soft pull, better be a correct info for $125 SD. money.

I don't think it is a problem for pending verification , then get approval eventually for the SD bonus. HSBC bank is scared for US government punishment. its account approval process is aways very slow
