Still haven't gotten the $150 Slickdeals rebate from the AMEX card deal from a month back...
Vanguard money market is about 2.49% or so currently. Places like Cit bank is around 2.45%. Other places have 2.3-2.4%ish accounts. Purepoint has a no-penalty CD at 2.6%
But with 20K to play with, you may be better off doing the bank bonus game -- Discover/Capital One/HSBC checking/Citi and so on.
I checked our system and your approval is showing up on 3/8. You should receive payment by early next week.

no, there's no expiration date specified, and SD did not comment and no one seems to know... i'm jsut worried bc it can take a good few days at minimum for HSBC to approve accounts....
No one is buying this bullshit anymore. Look at all the responses from SD in this thread. I guess they just chose to ignore you in all your other rebates you've tried. You must have the worst luck ever....

To their credit, there was a not to distant time a couple years ago, they weren't processing rebates...Seems to be fixed, though.

It might not have been effortless, but if one did what they were supposed to, and followed up on things, it eventually would get processed. My assumption from what I see even now, is people not following up and just complaining when it doesn't come through. Should you have to follow up? No, but it is what it is. A little effort for a decent payout is still worth it.
Application denied due to unable to verify identity. I have all credit frozen and they won't tell me which bureau they use. I have experian, equifax, transunion, chex systems, clarity services and innovis all frozen . I don't know which to lift... any suggestions? Same thing with VIO bank
Jesus Christ, this thread shows how ratchet SD community can get. Complaining and sending emails when 60 days haven't passed, were you relaying on this to pay your rent or something?
***I applied for the account and rebate despite all the complaints and got my bonus right around 60 day mark..

I have HSBC credit card & bank accounts: They first soft pull Experian for identity verification and once you pass that they soft pull Equifax, so both need to be unfrozen. They don't use Transunion for anything, and to my knowledge they don't pull Chex.
