Still haven't gotten the $150 Slickdeals rebate from the AMEX card deal from a month back...
Vanguard money market is about 2.49% or so currently. Places like Cit bank is around 2.45%. Other places have 2.3-2.4%ish accounts. Purepoint has a no-penalty CD at 2.6%
But with 20K to play with, you may be better off doing the bank bonus game -- Discover/Capital One/HSBC checking/Citi and so on.
I checked our system and your approval is showing up on 3/8. You should receive payment by early next week.

Any fees charges for transferring money in and out from other banks?
HSBC's external money transfer is very different from other typical banks. It takes them about 3 days to post to your account. Long story short, you lose the interest for 3 days. Other banks sometimes takes several days also to complete, but they post same day.
Hi, I opened HSBC savings account in early May 2019 and have not received $125 bonus from Slickdeals. Do you have any idea of how long it takes for the bonus to be posted through paypal? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello. You will never get the Slickdeals bonus. Just write it off and move on. The lesson here is never trust a Slickdeals rebate or bonus.
It took SD a week to respond to my email regarding not getting my rebate as promised. The response requested documentation of the approval as "it was not in their system". I sent this as requested and I am still waiting.
SD needs to realize their reputation is suffering because they are unable or unwilling to live up to the promises made. It am not sure why their 'system' is so error prone. I typically picture a 'system' as an automated, computerized database but in this case it may just be a 10 year old kid with a pad of paper.Who knows.
So, after another week of waiting after sending my documentation of approval (and SD confirmation) I got a reply stating that they still don't see my rebate in their 'system' but since I sent the documents they will pay the rebate 'as a courtesy" . WTF - I followed all the required procedures, received confirmation from SD at the time I submitted the form, waited the 60 days and supplied the additional documentation when requested yet I am treated as if *I* did something wrong.
Their 'system' appears to be broken. Either someone is not doing their job or there is someone whose job it is to 'loose' applications and they are doing it well.
Either way I have lost any confidence I had in SD as a result. (I know, I shouldn't have had any to start with based on other reports here.)
I hope I get the bonus. I just got approved today so I signed up for the bonus but i'm not sure if I signed up BEFORE I got approved or not as well Either way though it isn't hard to verify and I did everything else correct. Up to this point though Slickdeals has always come through with these for me so hopefully this will be no different.
I asked this question via the [email protected] and have not received an answer. If my wife and I apply while logged in to our individual slickdeals accounts but use the same PayPal address for the rebate is that allowable? Please only reply if you are 100% certain...thanks!
