But with 20K to play with, you may be better off doing the bank bonus game -- Discover/Capital One/HSBC checking/Citi and so on.

I opened my account on May 19, 2019, filled out my Slickdeals form on the same day, but have not received the bonus. I emailed [email protected] last week but have not received a response. Please let me know if there has been any updates.

That's because it's technically a rebate.
it says apply today, and you can submit form within 4 weeks after being approved.

I signed up today but if it gets approved tomorrow does it count as signing up today? I hope you're right.

I just applied also, and the hsbc said at the end application receivedm I took screenshots and saved the application ID number in case of a dispute. I also took pics of Slickdeals saying last day to apply today.
