Still haven't gotten the $150 Slickdeals rebate from the AMEX card deal from a month back...

Vanguard money market is about 2.49% or so currently. Places like Cit bank is around 2.45%. Other places have 2.3-2.4%ish accounts. Purepoint has a no-penalty CD at 2.6%

But with 20K to play with, you may be better off doing the bank bonus game -- Discover/Capital One/HSBC checking/Citi and so on.

I am in the same boat - almost exactly. The time between email repLIES has reduced from 1 week to a few days but the result is still the same. The latest repLIE stated I should see the money by Monday. Still waiting to see if this actually comes through but the effort required is getting ridiculous.

I applied for HSBC account on July 20th, before the deal expired on July 22nd. My account was approved on July 26th, and i submitted the slickdeals form on July 26th. Will i still be considered for the promo ?
I guess i should, based on the wording of the promo.

I have still not received my bonus in Paypal account even Slickdeal acknowledged to send the bonus to my account.
now no one is responding to my emails. nor do i have direct number to speak to slickdeal representative. i have the email as a proof.

So, if you did everything as specified you may need to keep at them to get your payment. They did not make it as easy as it sounded in the original offer.

Obviously people with problems are going to be heard the loudest, but for people concerned about jumping on this, it went without a hitch for me. I had the $125 in 2 weeks, didn't have to do anything special.

still nothing for me, I e-mailed [email protected]

I followed ALL instructions and want my bonus as promised. I could have signed up for HSBC under different promotions that would have netted me gains... and find this pretty bad on slick deals part if I don't receive the promo (as others should have also and still have not).

NOt to mention that HSBC is one of the most challenging companies to sign up with for a bank account. My time is valuable.
