But with 20K to play with, you may be better off doing the bank bonus game -- Discover/Capital One/HSBC checking/Citi and so on.

Followed each step to the letter (I am what you would consider a detail-oriented, rebate veteran).
No Paypal payout came, so I emailed the SD rebate team at 60 days after submission which I had put in immediately after receiving the approval from HSBC.
The SD rebates team said there was no record of my approval, but they would take care of me the next payout cycle - which they did. Happy it was resolved, but I definitely understand everyone being concerned and frustrated with these SD rebates. Thanks to the SD rebate team for not screwing me. I suppose next time I should make a video of the process, just in case.

I understand the frustration as well but I still hate the people that just come into these threads and say things like SCAM or YOU'LL NEVER SEE YOUR MONEY, and other dumb ass comments like that. It is one thing to criticize the efficiency and/or speed at which these are processed, but all the claims of just not receiving money, even when rules were followed and the user followed up with SD, are unfounded. However, I will say, this was one of the worst processed offers I've seen at SD in some time. SD really needs to step up here and offer an explanation as to why their tracking was so terrible here, and why response times for many users was apparently horrifically slow, if they want to save some face.
