i got a flyer in the mail for the credit card a couple weeks ago. Seems to be the best deal i could find without going through hoops.

It is only offered where they have Brick & Mortar Bank Branches - East Coast -.

Also... does the offer apply if I have their checking account?(but I have never applied for any of their credit cards)

I reloaded a restaurant gift card for $500 and it showed I got back $215 in rewards within same billing cycle so I applied it as statement credit. Weird thing is it says credit won't be reflected up to 2 billing cycles so idk if they're gonna deduct $500 or $285 from my checking acct and credit acct $215 later or what...have it set up on autopayments

I got it within same billing cycle after doing $500 at a restaurant in 1 transaction, so call them.
More than likely they will deduct $500 and if you do not make any other charges you will have a credit on your account when they post the $215.

that's what i thought too, but upon checking the acct (i don't plan on using the card again lol) it says my current balance is just $285.
I made the $500 restaurant transaction mid March, saw the $215 reward credit 3 days later & applied the credit on 03/20 bounce can't beat 43% off food Eat

They don't have CA in the drop down menu for state, so looks like you have to call to apply for certain states.

Beware that they never gave me the $300 promo they were supposed to when I had a checking account with them. They confirmed repeatedly that I had met all the requirements but no one could tell my why the money wasn't showing up in my account after 120 days.
