Would this be loud enough with enough bass to use at a drive-in movie?

I assume your drive in uses FM radio. How would you input the signal to this? I think this is only bt. I currently bring an old ghetto blaster from the '80's to the drive in and wouldn't mind using something modern myself.

Don't get me wrong, it's a good speaker, but probably not movie theatre bass.
It should be almost full range enough to get you a good experience. It won't be shaking windows and stuff.

Also this is not a radio. it is a bluetooth speaker, so unless you have an FM receiver to get audio source from, you won't be able to tune this to the drive in movie.

I picked up 2 of these today, had to do 2 separate purchases, I guess they only allow one per transaction. I noticed that on the receipt too, now I'm debating if I should return the battery and charger.

As others stated, you would need an fm transmitter because this is a Bluetooth speaker with an aux input as well. It doesn't sound as good the toughsystem radio but at this price it's a great deal.

Yeah I was going to Ebay the battery/ charger since I already have tons but when I saw that on the receipt... that's what I'm doing. Have the toughsystem radio but wanted something smaller as well. Tried the Dcl060 and didn't like it at all. We'll see how this one does....

You are correct. The manual linked on the HD site says it has a radio, but they linked the wrong model number.

Are you clueless?

seriously, I know (or hope) that was a joke....the brushless question shows up on pretty much every DeWalt thread, so why not this one?.. (no HDMI either...).
How about a VESA Slot? (talk about showing my age ...)
