This is AA 1.5V rechargeable battery vs. regular AA rechargeable battery is 1.2V.
The capacity for this battery is labeled as 2775 mWh, not is mah. which is equivalent to 2310 mah for 1.2V rechargeable battery.
If your devices work well with AA 1.2v rechargeable batteries, You DO NOT need buy these batteries, it is expensive, and you will be disappointed.
If your devices use AA batteries not working with 1.2V regular rechargeable batteries because they require higher voltage, these batteries may resolve the problem.
because its designing structure ( 3.6v Li-on battery with a stepdown converter).
It is not suitable for high/burst current draw devices such as camera flash, flashlights, motor driving etc. applications)

Exciting, but remember that voltage regulators bleed a good amount of power. So anything that requires a small amount of power over a long period of time (like a clock), would drain these batteries much much quicker than another type of battery because the voltage converter would need to stay on constantly (it may stay on constantly anyway). It's possible storing these for a month or even a couple weeks would drain them completely.

High current devices might benefit from the sustained voltage since a voltage regulator can pull every drop of power out of a battery. But keep in mind it would suddenly die once the voltage couldn't be maintained.
I'm so confused... Is this ten-a-volts or one-point-five-a-volts?

Haha I had the same response. About time these came out, though I wonder if it'll be a few years before they're good. These could just be 3.7V cells with a voltage converter, which means you lose much of the power in the conversion.

A quick google shows that it is a standard 3.7v cell with a buck driver to drop it to 1.5v steady.

I'm super excited for this. No more voltage drop over discharge!

BTW, same code on the 4 pack brings the total down to just $14, making that the better deal.
