I never understood the point of posts like this. If it's targeted then it can't be taken advantage of by anyone who didn't get it in their e-mail anyway so what's the use? Do people really need to be a alerted to check their e-mail for offers like this? That's like getting a notification to check one of your other notifications..... which you really should be doing anyway right?

Pretty much the same thing applies to those stupid Fry's e-mail club deals, and those frequently make FP so people can beg each other for codes.

My guess is people are too lazy to read their e-mail (or sign up for too much junk) and want someone else to do the legwork for them.

You could categorize this entire website as lazy people if that is your perspective.

Count me as one of those people who need to be reminded to check my emails. I only check my yahoo email once every week or two (the account I use for this kind of crap). I get emails from dozens of stores so it's very easy for something like this to slip through the cracks.

Sounds like you are too lazy to properly manage your own e-mail.
