The Sandisk will hit the 100MB/sec rating all day but it can't average that over the entire card as one long continuous action.

im not sure how you are hitting 100MB/ sec write for the sandisk 256gb A1 class 10 rating.
i see reviews on newegg as 40's to 60's. Sandisk is a lot slower than the samsung cards. There is a big difference in write speed on U1 vs U3 cards. Return your sandisk and get this card... you wont regret it.
another reason why i dont buy sandisk is failure rates. Samsung is just awesome.
