awesome deal for 3 tools and 2 batteries (one 4ah no-less)! Too bad I already have non-fuel version of all of these tools.

The 3/8" ratchet is so convenient. It's definitely just a luxury, but it makes working on moderate torque use cases a breeze. You have to manually break loose or final tightening, but it saves a lot of time and effort.

is this a good deal? looking for my first set of brushless tools. was originally looking into ryobi. Ryobi combos like this i noticed are watered down versions of the actual good versions of the same tools. is it the same with milwaukee?

Not sure what you mean by "watered down" but Milwaukee are more heavy duty than Ryobi. If you're going to be using your tools on a daily basis then it's worth the money. If you're a home DIY who occasionally use your tools, probably save yourself some money and go with Ryobi. If you're not using it a ton, you probably won't be using it as much or as rough, hence will probably last you a really long time.

This IS the actual good version. It's arguably the best 12v you can get.

🤔

I only want the ratchet and 4.0 battery.
I wonder how much I can sell the rest for?

Yes but the ratchet head is much larger. I have this non-fuel ratchet and it works just fine. Sometimes you have to break bolts loose with your hand but after that this works great.

Milwaukee is among the best you can get in quality. Their prices are going to be higher than Ryobi ones, but they are great tool.

I have Milwaukee m12 12volt tools for the more common usage cases like impact drive, drill, hacksall, and ratchet. They are very light and small, perfect for most uses.

I also have a set of Ryobi 18v with the less commonly used tools where I can't justify Milwaukee prices. I have Ryobi circular saw, impact wrench, angle grinder, multitool, belt and orbital sander, and jigsaw. I also use Ryobi garden tools like their sprayer, weed whacker, edger, and blower. I love the variety of tools Ryobi has and in happy with their quality so far.

I used to have some Milwaukee 18v tools, but the tools are expensive and batteries are doubly so. I got rid them and went all in on Ryobi.

Dammit!!! I just bought the ratchet and pack out case for 99. I have been waiting for this deal for about a year. I am probably going to buy and sell the ratchet separately. This is a smoking deal

Edit: It's been less than a month since buying the ratchet and pack out case. I'm going to get this and return the other ratchet and case. Still haven't used it.

The combo without the ratchet was $170 around Black Friday. This is a solid deal, and the tools are excellent.

Guess I'll get to decide between the rotary tool or the ratchet. Thanks OP
