Looks like it was mastered from the original master tapes and supposed to sound good, assuming it's the 2016 La Valle release as stated

not poo pooing this deal but i am a huge floyd fan from piper to the final cut (after gilmour and waters broke up its not the same for me but roger's pros and cons is an absolute classic)..... i never took to obscured by clouds.... boring...... would put on ummagumma or more or atom heart from around this era (i.e., post barrett pre meddle to the wall classic period) before listening to this album.... this ones a total miss in their catalog to my ears

Keep in mind this was a commissioned film score. While it's not my favorite album either, it's certainly an interesting demarcation in their chronology as you can see their sound evolving to what would become DSTOM and obviously everything after. I don't listen to anything post-Waters including solo stuff. Perhaps I should check out Pros and Cons. I did see Waters in concert last year and WOW it was an experience.

if u like the final cut (which is an acquired taste but after 5-10 listens becomes ur favorite album) u will love pros and cons...... eric clapton is the guitarist and there are moments that are just absolutely amazing.... put it this way, i started playing guitar because of clapton on pros

and my basic point with obscured is if u r a casual floyd fan just looking for some floyd goodness and u r not familiar with obscured, u may be disappointed

I've always really liked this album and find it very underrated. Even Nick Mason has said it's one of his favorite albums. If you don't buy it today, at least give it a listen on your streaming service of choice.
