lego star wars and marvel Walmart in-store clearance 75% off YMMV

My local walmart had the Lego Star Wars Sand Crawler for $35 (1004 pieces)
https://www.walmart.com/ip/LEGO-S.../935721612
https://brickseek.com/walmart-inv...=935721612

and the Lego Marvel Avengers Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown for $25 (1239 pieces)
https://www.walmart.com/ip/LEGO-M.../657136655
https://brickseek.com/walmart-inv...=657136655

Both were 75% off. As always YMMV, but might at least be worth looking up. Price at walmart.com wasn't right for me but the price at brickseek was.

Uff, thanks. I tried one of these the first times as I was 5 minutes from a Wal Mart at the time that had 2 in stock...alas none to be found anywhere. At least I got a few of the Disney Minifigs I was looking for.

Brickseek said my Walmart had 3 Sanctum Sanctorum's in stock. I got there and picked up 2. This is one the first YMMV Walmart deals I've found to be in stock.

One of my 3 local WalMart stores that I was in today had 6 sand crawlers. Brickseek says $35 in store scan says $140.

Are you sure you were at the right store? I've never had something ring up different than what was on BS.

I'm sorry but brickseek is horseshit. I've never found one valid deal in years I've tried dozens of stores and nothing even when they say high sty's in stock.

IDK, Brickseek says $25 at my store, but the Wall Mart app says in stock at my store and at $99.99. I agree I've never had a Brickseek price show up differently, but I have also never had a Brockseek price show up differently than the price that the Wall Mart app lists for in-store

Are they in toys section or clearance section?

I've found that whenever brickseek says 3 left in stock, my local Walmart's have none. I'll ask around and look everywhere but nothing. If it says 4, there will be exactly 1. I've been encountering this on every deal I check up on.

My experience is that if stock is 2 the item is usually gone and I try to convince myself to not head out to the store. Not a gambler but it's like the slot machine, if I don't give it a whirl then the next gal/guy might win the jackpot

I agree, if its ringing in at a higher price check the SKU and that you are at the right store.

Same, typically at that point they are behind a desk, in another department, or possibly stolen so their cycle counts are off. I've even had once where a flash drive was supposed to have 78 in stock so I went and searched the department and every end cap to find nothing. Asked the electronics employee and he claimed their were none in the back.
