Bro, I'm sure they used the same strainer as the previous orders spaghetti and your rigatoni. If you're looking for michelin star dining, I'm afraid you wandered into the wrong establishment. In fact, if this grossed you out, my advice to you is to not dine out. Far worse offenses go on without you even noticing.

Have you ever ordered a curly fries and found a regular fry in your order? Or vice versa? Would that make you throw out all the fries you ordered? If so, maybe skip the Olive Garden. You tooooo fancy.
Even more likely than that, just a stray noodle. Long noodles are prepped on big trays, short noodles are pre-portioned in bags. Noodles are cooked to juuuuust before done and put in fridge. When it's time to use, noodles are dumped into an individual strainer in a boiler with 4 or 6 others (can't remember) and heated for about 20-30 seconds until hot/Al dente. Noodles are pulled and either plated immediately and topped with sauce, or thrown in a saute pan with sauce for other dishes.

A noodle getting stuck in the strainer and falling out on the next round is most likely. People that get "so disgusted" by a stray noodle and actually think they're getting leftovers from another person are clueless as to how restaurants work.
If this deal like similar ones in the past, then they have a select list of entrees to choose from, then you pick your free one. Whether dine-in or take out, it works same. Dine-in they bring you second entree when you finish eating. To-go you pick both online, with any extra add-ons if wanted and away you go. Good deal if you find something you like. Keep an eye out for the Kids Eat Free offers that usually come and can be combined with this deal, they let you add one or two kids choices with purchase.

Works for dine-in? Not seeing a printable coupon through phone, only online ordering

I can never figure out this deal. Eat one there, bag one? Then how the hell do you order both online? Most confusing restaurant offer ever.

Walks you right through it... Try again

I dono, i rate places based on personal experience and ive never had a bad fettuccini at OG - cant say the same for any other local "italian" restaurant.
Im vegetarian so i probably dodge many bullets right there!

Than again, my wife wont set foot in OG because the food is "disgusting"... So i understand where all the bad comments come from.

P.S. Im gonna go with the wife on this one.
