This looks like a targeted offer where chase is giving $600 in account opening bonus when Checkings and Savings accounts are opened ($300 for checking + $200 for savings + additional $100 for opening both).
I live in 27502 zip in NC and had couple credit cards with chase.
The regular offer is $350 ($200 for checking + $150 for savings) for opening both the accounts.
PS:I am not affiliated with Chase bank in anyway nor endorsing the bank except holding personal credit cards from the bank and won't get benefited from posting this deal. Disclosing in full transparency.
I think the slickdeals affiliate code automatically added is not allowing your offer to display
This was a targeted offer which showed up in my chase account under offers Just for You. The linked I have shared is from chase [dot] com and should be visible to anyone without having to navigate from slickdeals.
Chase Total Checking®
For new Chase checking customers: Open a new Chase Total Checking® account1 and set up direct deposit.2
Chase SavingsSM
For new Chase savings customers: Open a new Chase SavingsSM account1, deposit a balance of $15,000 or more in new money within 20 business days, and maintain a $15,000 balance for 90 days.2
BEWARE of Chase bank deals - They (their so-called "Fraud Alert Dept", totally disjoint from "Marketing Dept", which throws out these YMMV offers) will make it incredibly hard to transfer money into the new accounts in time and then, even if you did somehow manage on time, Customer Svc "Dept" (which is again totally disjoint from the "other Depts"; no accountability there) will nonchalantly deny you the bonus. So, this is a HORRIBLE, YMMV deal, even if you jump through ALL the hoops.
If $350-$600 seems too good to be true for just opening bank accts, its because it is! Better to just steer clear of the daylight crooks at Chase and maintain your sanity.

Sounds like you didn't do things properly. Never had a problem with opening a bank account and getting the bonus.

The guy has a point. I opened an account online and they wanted me to come in the branch. OK, here I am the next day with my id, let's continue. No, they closed the original account, but they'll now be happy to open a new one now. OK, what about the coupon? Oh, you'll have to bring another one. Wait, can YOU just apply one? Nope. Too bad, so sad.

That's a slimy banker trying to get credit for your account. That's a cancer at that branch, but not necessarily with the bank or offer
Have done multiple Chase coupons in the past and never had any funny business happen. Their bankers have never tried to hide the bonus or make it hard to get. In fact, they would often help me confirm I'd get the bonus in writing too.

NOPE, I did everything to the T and yet had to go thru it the very, very hard way, unnecessarily. Its just unnecessary mental anxiety, hassel and a BIG waste of time, effort AND money.
Chase has become a dying Gigantosaurus. An outside banker told me that the plummeting interest rates and yield-curve inversion is squeezing them and their HORRIBLE, dog-eat-dog corp culture, makes them a horrible bunch, who, inturn, treat customers like dirt. People at a local credit union will treat customers with much more courtesy and respect and give a comparable deal, all told. So just AVOID these legalized bandits.
Read the fine print--I'm still debating on doing this offer and it does say 15K in savings account for 90 days and then I read somewhere else where the account must remain open for 6 months or they can take the bonus back. Doesn't say you have to leave the 15K in there but says it needs to remain open for 6 months--if I remember correctly. Check the fine print--
Here is fine print for $600 bonus
2Account Closing: If either the checking or savings account is closed by the customer or Chase within six months after opening, we will deduct the bonus amount for that account at closing.
