Note: Some of these do NOT come with a case, FYI.

The fade burst C-1 Elites look nice enough to almost make me want to buy a Schecter...

I don't play guitar, but it's awesome to see Chris Poland's name on the front page.

Chris Poland guitars sell, but who's buying?

Why aren't the Hellraisers part of this deal, I wonder? 🤔 Was looking to replace my old FR Hellraiser with a new non FR.

Anyone have knowledge about the Solo 6 Poltergeist? Does it sound similar to a more well known sound (Stratocaster, Les Paul, Gretch, etc.)? I was planning on getting a MIM Stratocaster but I'm curious about the Poltergeist and how good of a deal it is compared to a $400-450 MIM Strat. Also, what is an ebony fretboard like? I prefer a maple over rosewood personally.

Mahogany body and neck with a maple top and ebony board and dual humbuckers is about as far from a glassy alder maple 3 single coil strat sound as you can get. This would be more in line with a Les Paul axcess but with a much thinner flat 24 fret neck.

I actually like the Les Paul sound as well as Strats. I would be happy with either sound. Unfortunately I'm only in the market to get one guitar and $400-450 MIM Strats seem to be the more common good deal. A good deal is also a factor in my decision as resale value in the future when I might get a better guitar is important to me. Thanks for the information.

Are any of these better than the Hellraiser?

Can't really go wrong with a Mexican strat, their weak point it the electronics but save for awhile and buy a loaded pickguard for an American strat from somewhere like thestratosphere who parts out new guitars or somewhere like 920D who assemble them. I have a fender custom shop David Gilmour strat and a Mexican strat with the same pickups from 920D and I can get pretty comparable sound from the Mexican for about 3500 less....
