This TV has a very good maybe great picture. But I noticed when comparing then saw in reviews HDR does not seem as good as my Samsung TV. And it isn't, the brightness isn't as good when HDR is present so you don't get the dynamic picture that some other sets have. It's possible some may not notice it or care enough because the picture is very good. As an example the sun in the sky looks better on some sets because the HDR allows the sun to really, well shine but on this set is does not stand out the same. And blue skies have a more realistic look on other sets I compared to because on this set the brightness is the same in some spots where on other sets you could see differences of brightness around clouds when the sun shines through. Again this is only for 4K HDR.

If the price is around $2,400 including shipping that is lower than I have seen.

The brightness may not be as extreme but the contrast will be better due to the black levels. However, if you are a news junky.... avoid.... you will get retention or burn.

Too bad on the price... Has dropped at Costco to $2549 with 7 year warranty included if you use the Costco Citi. I would be in for 1 at $2099 but I am not paying more than $500 extra to go from v8 to v9.

Yes all true. Burn in is a real concern I should have mentioned that.
