Turns out you can dislike a deal without commenting useless drivel.

I own this machine and it really is probably the best way to make ice cream or sorbet at home. The fact that it self chills means you start it up while you prepare your ingredients and it gets cold enough by the time you're done that you just pour them in and walk away.

It's a useless comment that contributes nothing to the discussion while simultaneously looking down on others for their choices and points out something that doesn't need pointing out. The comment's only purpose is to make the poster feel superior. Think the product is useless? Then move on and don't waste others' time or insult their choices.

The seller that you need to select is Amazon to get this pricing. Delivery is in 1-3 weeks so it may not happen, but the price is about $80 less than the best so far. CCC also confirms.

This link should work to get to the $244 one sold by Amazon:

It seems that Breville quality is not what it once was. Our newest toaster oven from them is pretty disappointing.

Yeah, my Sister had 2 of their Espresso machines that both failed slightly after a year. They are still selling on the name, but must have shifted to "lowest bidder" manufacturing in China.

I have the Cuisinart mentioned here and it's amazing. I've used it maybe 120 times and most of those are back to back batches.

All ice cream will need an additional 15-30 minutes in a freezer to set up like ice cream.

I've got the BOV900 and it has been great so far. Temperature is reliable and the airfry works well. The broiler functions better than expected and we can rely on it to be consistent with every use. It's been around about 3 months and used about 100 times. Even though the metal trays are not supposed to go into the dishwasher, they do not seem to be 'coated' like the Cuisinart I had before this and I've had no issues with peeling so far after dozens of washes for each. Every brand has issues now but I definitely have had less, far less, with the Breville than the cheap stuff. There is something to be said for having consistent results when you use it daily.

It looks like it could be 15% less for new shoppers like me. Thanks for the note Benny https://m.surlatable.com/product/...0_Breville

I've had one of these for 5 or 6 years. It works well for me.

I have this device and it's a great addition to the kitchen. It takes 10 min to make the base and 20 min to chill the ice cream depending on the setting you choose. Makes 2 quarts of delicious ice cream. You still have to chill the finished product in a freezer to get the perfect consistence/hardness.
