Just a reminder than all your in-market games are blacked out. I live in Cali so I cannot watch any 49ers, Raiders, Chargers, or Rams play. Which is the really crappy part of this deal.

I have never had an issue with the service itself (3 years), but have had issues when my internet was acting up. So if your internet is janky, this may not be the best idea.

The other key thing is if you log in to one device and then want to switch (Ex: Start on phone, then move to xbox when you get home)- that can take about 15 minutes. Even if you log-out, it takes a long long time to recognize that you have logged out of the first device. I plan accordingly now.

Do I have to be a direct TV subscriber already or can I just get the app for my Roku and watch NFL games only? My daughter is a student but we do not have direct TV.

This is for the app only and cannot be added with existing DirecTV I don't believe. Just need to check for eligibility through the website.

I believe only when logged into the account, it will say there name but have the rest of your info.
