I agree with going 2060 but you're grossly overestimating energy savings and cost .

Have this card. Love it. Not as loud as some other blower style cards I've owned. Something to note is the rebate. I've done well over a hundred rebates and I never have had issues. This one however, I was supposed to receive in June and still haven't and the 800 number to call is during my work hours so I just haven't got around to it. Point is, watch the rebate.

I have this card. and I love it. it IS as loud as everybody says it is. I got this when it was $250 after rebate and the rebate took exactly 90 days to get to me. Super easy to undervolt and overclock (gpu-1050mv ram-955mhz power limit+%50), and if you're thinking you don't want to buy it because you don't want to take chances messing with it, just buy it I had no idea you could do any of this and it was easy as hell to do it

Yes, as long as your PSU has enough power.

Airboost version is only different from the less restrictive I/O plate in back compared to stock reference. Less of an air whizzing noise due to larger exhaust holes. I modded my reference plate and cut the stock air holes out and it does make make a noted difference in the tone of the noise and did decrease temps a bit.

If you get Samsung memory it will overclock well. I run mine at 975 mv core under lock, 950 MHz hbm and I get approximately +20% fps compared to the 1070 I came from. Paid $220 used for the Vega 56, sold my 1070 for $230.

Would do that trade again any day of the week. It's not loud when tuned in a good case. Temps peak at 75c with fans at 1800 to 2100 tpm. I have yet to repaste the card as well.

Thumbs up, hope for Samsung!

Don't repaste, I did and it did absolutely nothing. I did it the first week I got it so maybe if yours is a little older it could help. I got this 6 months ago and got the Samsung memory. I flashed the 64 air boost bios and my memory is at 1120 at 1015mv

1015mv is not the voltage to memory

This is a lot of video card for the money if you can deal with the type of cooler it uses.

With some tweaks it will hang with most games at an acceptable frame rate even at 3440.
